Welcome to Vet Set Go!

It is hard to believe that, over 5 years ago, I launched Ichabod Ink - the first on-line veterinary community for future veterinarians. It has truly been a labor of love. I worked during my spare time and funded the entire project myself. And I was rewarded with some phenomenal experiences along the way. I met amazing veterinarians and was proud to share their stories. Now it is time to start the next chapter…

For example, through the power of video, we are still going to go into veterinary clinics and sharing what veterinarians do. We will continue to take you behind the scenes in the hospitals and let you follow cases from start to finish. What is different is that I will no longer be filming. Instead, we are bringing on the best videographers we can find to enhance your experience.

We are also planning to have games that teach you the science of animals. However, they will no longer be web based. Vet Set Go will be launching apps that you can play on your phone. Apps that help you learn about veterinarians and the science of animals.

And Vet Set Go brings some amazing new features for you to explore like our Activities section. Here you can search for activities you can do close to home. Do you want to volunteer or shadow a veterinarian? Then start your search in the new Activities section.

Finally, we really want to connect veterinary teams and future veterinarians. So we have created a Community section. In this section, members can share their “stories” and include photographs and videos. We are really hoping that veterinary teams will share some of the great patients they see and cases they have worked up. We are also hoping that aspiring veterinarians share the animals they care for and the great things they are doing to learn about animals and connect with veterinarians.
