The Become a Veterinarian Camp Contest is coming next month. Grand Prize Winners will receive a scholarship to the Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine Junior VET Camp.
This camp will be held July 12th – 17th in Auburn, AL. Camp participants will experience campus-life while residing in Auburn's resident dormitories, eating at campus dining facilities, and enjoying evening social and recreational activities. Campers will have 24/7 counselor supervision.
To enter, we will ask you to tell us your story in 300 words or less.
The contest will be open to students entering 6th,7th, or 8th grade in the fall of 2020.
To enter, we will ask you to tell us your story in 300 words or less. Just share your personal story on why you want to become a veterinarian and what you have done so far to explore your dream. You can tell us:
- Why you want to become a veterinarian
- What you have done to get animal experience
- What you have done to help animals
- What you have done to learn explore the science of animals
- What you have done to learn more about veterinarians
Share whatever you want. We’ll also want to see a photo with you helping animals or simply enjoying time with your favorite pet or animal friend.
The contest starts March 2nd. So start writing your story today! I can’t wait to hear from all of you!
