Nicole's story

I've always wanted to work with animals, it just took me awhile to discover that being a vet would be the best option. First I wanted to work in a K9 police unit, and then an animal sanctuary, but that all changed when I discovered that being a veterinarian would be an amazing job option for me. I started looking at how I could fulfill my dreams at about the age of 9. I started to look at courses and what collages offered which programs. Being a vet is still my dream, next year or grade 10, I'm taking a co-op so I can get a feel for what it's like working in a vets office.
