I want to be a vet

My name is Bianna Pierce and I am 14 years old, I have always wanted to be a veterinarian, ever since I was 5. I save birds in my back yard and walk dogs for an after school job. I volunteer at the North East Animal Shelter every Friday and walk, feed and play with the cats and dogs. I love working there. I want to be a vet because I love animals so much and I want to save them. I am attending the Essex Tech High School next year in the 9th grade and I received my letter over April vacation and bursted into tears when I found out I got in. I am going to study to be a veterinarian there and I am also doing companion animals and equine science. My love for animals is like a gift, there's the wrapping paper, the box and the gift. The wrapping paper is my looks and how I treat the animals. The box is my personality and how I mentally fit in and communicate with the animals and understand there body languages. Finally, the gift is my love for the animals and nobody can ever take that away from me because when there is too much wrapping paper on that gift, you never get to it. I had a German Shepherd and we played vet together, but sadly he passed away September 29th, 3 days after my birthday and it was the hardest thing I have ever been through I miss very much. I currently have a German Shepherd puppy and a Boston Terrier dog who is 10 years old. I play vet with them too and we have a lot of fun. I really want to be a vet when I am older and go to Cornell University and show my German Shepherd best friend that we did it, we really did it, We made it into the Essex Tech High School. Hopefully I can fulfill my dream.
