Hey guys!
My name is Lasha Hicks-Bennett. I am a 4th year veterinary student at Tuskegee University. This summer I got the opportunity to volunteer for 2 weeks at a humane society and do what I love to do, which is Surgery!! At this facility I got to practice shelter medicine under a great Tuskegee alum who had poured greatly into me and supported my life goals. I honor and thank him for his mentorship.
