I am 12 years old, currently in the 6th grade and have always loved animals since the beginning. I have been interested in becoming an avian and exotic vet. I have (in 2017) a 17 year old sulfur crested cockatoo, a female Indian ring-neck parrot, two guinea pigs, a lion-head rabbit, two doves, a cat, and a husky. Yes, it is a lot to take care of but it's worth it. i especially have a love for parrots, the way they interact and how intelligent they are. I have spent the day with many vets just to kind of see what they do and learn quite a few things. I have been researching for a while and am having trouble finding sites specifically about exotics so if you know of some good ones, please reach out to me.
